Good News: Keith Urban is Male Vocalist of the Year!
Keith won his third consecutive CMA Male Vocalist of the Year Award Country Music Association Awards on November 6. Only George Strait has done this before! Keith wasn't there to pick it up but Ronnie Dunn (of Brooks and Dunn) accepted for him and read a letter from Keith thanking everyone for the award.
Bad News: Keith is in Trouble!
Keith Urban entered rehab for alcohol abuse in late October. With wife Nicole Kidman by his side, Keith checked himself into an unnamed rehab center. This means that his tour
is postponed indefinitely, although the new album is still scheduled for release as planned.
Keith needs our prayers and good thoughts and support at this difficult time in his life. He's beaten other addictions, and we can have faith that he'll overcome this one too.
